Because all digital cameras are designed with TTL metering, even with gradient dimming filter, there is no need for special exposure compensation. In addition to the gradual dimming filter when shooting cloudy, sunrise and sunset, when shooting on sunny days, adding this filter can also make the color saturation of the sky higher, make the sky appear deeper blue, and look more relaxed and happy.

Gradient blue is another commonly used gradient filter. On days when the haze is large and the sky is poor, the gray sky is really a great scenery. At this time, you can add a gradient blue filter to restore the blue sky and enhance the effect of blue sky and white clouds without affecting the tone of the ground. If shooting sunrise and sunset, gradient orange is a very useful filter, which can make the monochromatic effect more intense at sunset.
In addition, many photographers add brown gradient mirrors when shooting cloudy and cloudy subjects to express the effect of nostalgia and moody.
